Storybook Theatre
Storybook Theatre is FAPA’s unique curriculum designed especially for our preschool friends! In this class, kids will enjoy learning about all areas of the performing arts through music and movement, arts and crafts. Parents will enjoy a special demonstration classes in December and May showcasing all the kids have been learning and working on. This is the perfect introduction to the arts for young children. They’ll have fun with games, activities, singing and dancing and parents will love knowing that their kids are getting a great foundation in the arts while developing pre-reading skills, cooperation, coordination and self awareness that will serve them well when they go to school! The class will run from August 16th through May 15th.
3 and 4 year olds–
Wednesdays 3-3:30pm (Tuition: $48/month August-May)
Take the Stage!
Take the Stage! is FAPA’s unique curriculum designed especially for our preschool and Kindergarteners! In this class, kids will enjoy learning about all areas of the performing arts: from designing their own sets to creating stories and characters based around classic children’s literature. And of course, there will be LOTS of singing, dancing, crafts and games! Parents will enjoy a special demonstration in December showcasing all the kids have been working on and in the spring, our Take the Stage students will join our 1st and 2nd grade productions of Finding Nemo to perform onstage in the spring production! This is the perfect starting point for busy, energetic kids with a flair for the dramatic!
December demonstration performances will take place during normal class time the week of December 11, 2023. Finding Nemo performances will take place the week of April 8, 2024. The class will run from the week of August 14th through the week of May 13th.
Class meets once per week. Please choose the day/time that works best for your family as classes are not interchangeable. The difference in tuition costs is due to the number of classes per year.
4 and 5 year olds:
Monday: 4:30-5:15pm (Tuition: $55/month August-May)
Wednesdays: 4-4:45pm (Tuition: $58/month August-May)
Wednesdays: 4:45-5:30pm (Tuition: $58/month August-May)
Wednesdays: 5:45-6:30pm (Tuition: $58/month August-May)
